Platform Evolution

Xertra originates from Stratis, a blockchain platform known for pioneering a full-node implementation in C# and the .NET framework.

As the market evolved, the project transitioned its core infrastructure to an Ethereum-compatible Proof of Stake network, built from the Go-Ethereum (Geth) and Prysm codebases. This shift introduced full EVM support, enabling developers to deploy smart contracts and decentralized applications using standard Web3 tooling while benefiting from Xertra’s native improvements.

Today, Xertra focuses on two primary verticals — Gaming and DeFi — combining enterprise-grade infrastructure with the flexibility and composability of the Ethereum ecosystem.
