Detailed Project Description (Rayls)

Rayls is a financial infrastructure blockchain designed to connect traditional finance (TradFi) with decentralized finance (DeFi). The project combines a compliant public EVM chain with a network of private, institution-hosted blockchains to enable secure, regulated asset tokenization and cross-market settlement. By aligning the privacy, compliance, and control requirements of financial institutions with the programmability and liquidity of DeFi, Rayls seeks to provide a unified ecosystem for tokenized assets and institutional capital flows.

Architecture and Technology

The Rayls architecture consists of three key layers: Rayls Public Chain: An EVM-compatible permissionless chain featuring deterministic finality, USD-pegged gas fees, and built-in compliance mechanisms. All accounts on the chain are tied to verified attestations, ensuring regulatory alignment while maintaining composability with the wider DeFi ecosystem.

Rayls Privacy Nodes: Permissioned, high-performance EVM blockchains that can be deployed on-premise by banks, central banks, or financial market infrastructures (FMIs). These nodes handle sensitive institutional workflows and integrate into private networks with 10,000+ transactions per second capacity.

Rayls Enygma Protocol: A quantum-secure privacy framework using zero-knowledge proofs and homomorphic encryption to support confidential transactions, Delivery-versus-Payment (DvP) settlement, and programmable privacy controls.

This dual-network design allows institutions to run private operations while maintaining direct pathways to the Rayls public chain for distribution, secondary trading, and liquidity access.

## Use Cases and Adoption Rayls has been deployed in several institutional contexts:

Central Bank of Brazil (DREX pilot) – powering proofs-of-concept for CBDC issuance and tokenized credit instruments.

Núclea – the largest FMI in the Southern Hemisphere, using Rayls to tokenize over 10,000 commercial receivables weekly, with more than $50 million settled on-chain to date.

Cielo – Latin America’s largest payment acquirer, integrating Rayls for tokenized merchant settlement and credit-card receivables, with production launch targeted for Q3 2025 (~800,000 daily payouts).

J.P. Morgan Onyx/Kinexys – Rayls ranked first among six evaluated privacy-focused blockchain solutions for institutional finance in the “Epic” benchmark (2025).

Beyond pilot programs, Rayls is working with tier-1 banks, asset managers, and payment processors to enable tokenized bonds, receivables, loans, and real-world assets (RWAs).

## Token and Economics The Rayls ecosystem is powered by the $RLS token, an ERC-20 asset with a fixed supply of 10 billion. Its utilities include:
