The round was co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Together Fund and Array VC, valuing the Bengaluru-based company at $65 million post-investment, as of October 2025. From Building to Growing: Runable’s Strategic Pivot Founded in 2025 by Umesh Kumar and Saksham Sarda, Runable initially operated as an AI infrastructure startup, developing browser technology to scrape data at scale. However, the founders observed a growing trend among users who were leveraging their browser-based agent for tasks like creating slide decks and websites. This insight prompted a strategic pivot toward a general-purpose AI agent. This shift has proven commercially successful. The startup reported going from zero to a $2 million annualized revenue run rate within three weeks of launching payments in March. The company’s core offering now allows users to build websites, apps, and presentations using natural language prompts, while also managing underlying infrastructure like deployment and analytics. Targeting the ‘Grow’ Side of Business Runable’s new direction focuses on what co-founder and CEO Umesh Kumar calls the “grow” side of the business. The AI agent is being extended to run ad campaigns, manage social media, handle SEO, and optimize a business’s presence in AI chatbot results. The ultimate goal is to allow small business owners to ask Runable to acquire a specific number of customers, rather than separately configuring websites, analytics tools, and advertising accounts. “In the end, a business doesn’t require Codex or Claude Code or anything. They require real outcomes,” Kumar told Bitcoin World. “If I am paying an agency $10,000 to run my Google Ads, can someone come in and do it for me for a lower price? That’s where Runable comes in.” Market Position and Competitive Landscape Runable is entering a crowded market that includes AI giants like Anthropic and OpenAI, as well as coding platforms such as Cursor, Lovable, and Replit. However, Kumar argues that Runable’s advantage lies in handling the complete workflow required to produce an outcome for a small business—including infrastructure, analytics, and distribution—without requiring users to stitch together multiple services. The startup currently has approximately 1.7 million registered users, with the U.S., UK, and Japan among its largest markets. The company expects Japan to emerge alongside the U.S. as one of its top markets as soon as next month.
