What Is GAIB?

GAIB (GPU · AI · Blockchain) is a blockchain-agnostic protocol that functions as the Economic Layer for AI infrastructure. It establishes a modular and verifiable framework for the tokenization, validation, and financialization of productive AI assets such as GPU clusters, data centers, robotics, and energy systems — converting their operational performance into programmable, on-chain financial primitives.

The project addresses a structural gap between two rapidly growing but isolated economies: - Decentralized Finance (DeFi), which holds deep programmable liquidity but remains largely confined to endogenous, crypto-native activities. - Artificial Intelligence (AI) Infrastructure, which generates significant real-world demand for capital but relies on centralized and permissioned financing.

GAIB bridges this divide by creating a transparent and programmable system that allows decentralized liquidity to participate directly in the financing and ownership of real-world AI infrastructure. Through this, GAIB transforms previously illiquid, capital-intensive assets into accessible, composable digital instruments that reflect verified economic productivity.

Modular Economic Architecture

GAIB operates through a five-layer modular architecture, with each layer responsible for a distinct function in the coordination of capital and data between off-chain infrastructure and on-chain markets:

- Settlement Layer – Provides the canonical ledger for all validated asset states, ensuring secure cross-chain interoperability and transaction finality. - Asset Validation Layer – Verifies and attests to the existence, performance, and operational metrics of real-world AI assets using a decentralized validator network secured through restaking frameworks such as EigenLayer and Symbiotic. - Tokenization Layer – Converts validated infrastructure and cash flows into standardized on-chain representations using ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, or ERC-4626 formats, ensuring interoperability within the broader DeFi ecosystem. - Financialization Layer – Defines how verified off-chain performance is translated into programmable on-chain value, employing transparent accounting models such as Net Asset Value (NAV) accrual within ERC-4626 vaults. - Liquidity Layer – Integrates GAIB assets into external DeFi markets, enabling collateralization, lending, and structured financial products backed by tokenized AI infrastructure.

Together, these layers form a composable system that synchronizes decentralized capital with real-world productive assets, establishing a transparent, rule-based foundation for the financing of intelligence infrastructure.
